📦 Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship from?

All of our gear ships directly from our home base in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. We’re proud to send our specialized stillwater tackle to fly fishers all over the world!

What shipping services do you use?

We primarily use Canada Post for all shipments. For our friends in the United States, your package will be handed off to the US Postal Service (USPS) for final delivery. If postal services are unavailable, we’ll use a reliable alternative courier to ensure your gear gets to you.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We know you're eager to get on the water! Here are our typical delivery windows:

  • Canada: 5–7 business days.
  • United States: 7–10 business days (pending standard customs clearance).
  • International: 14–21 business days.

Please note: Business days do not typically include weekends or holidays.

How are shipping rates calculated?

Rates are based on the package dimensions, total weight of your order and your location.

  • Canada & USA: We are happy to offer Free Shipping on orders over $100 (before taxes)!
  • Small Items (Canada only): We offer a $3.00 flat letter rate for small orders of flies or light accessories. This service does not include tracking.
  • International/USA Small Items: Due to customs regulations, we cannot ship via "letter rate" across the border; these must be shipped as tracked parcels.

When Will My Order Ship?

We aim to ship within 24 hours of receiving an order, Monday through Friday. Orders received over a weekend will ship on the Monday following the weekend. In the event of a holiday long weekend, we will ship the next available business day. 

Should an order be delayed past 48 hours, we will send an email advising receipt of the order, the reasons for the delay, and the anticipated ship date. In the improbable event that we can't ship a product, we will provide alternative product choices at a similar price or a refund at your option.

Will I Be Notified When My Order is Shipped?

Yes, once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification. Your shipping notice will include an estimated ship time and, if applicable, a tracking number.

Will I Receive a Tracking Number When My Order is Shipped?

Yes, if your order is shipped with a trackable shipping service. For domestic Canadian orders, some automatically qualify for tracked service if the package exceeds standard letter specifications. 

All US-bound orders will receive a tracking number.

How do U.S. Tariffs affect my order?

Due to U.S. Customs regulations effective August 29, 2025, certain products manufactured outside of the United States are subject to import tariffs.

  • What this Means for You: Depending on the country of origin of the items in your cart, a tariff may be applied to your U.S.-bound order.
  • Our Promise: We are committed to transparency and will do our best to identify these costs during checkout.  If you have questions about a specific product's origin or potential fees, please feel free to Contact Us before placing your order.

Will I have to pay extra fees when my package arrives?

No. We’ve taken the guesswork out of international shopping. Because of the 2026 changes to US trade policy (including the removal of the de minimis threshold and the new 10% import surcharge), every package entering the US is now subject to duties.

To prevent any "surprise" invoices from the mail carrier, we use real-time duty calculation at checkout. Any applicable US tariffs or duties are calculated and collected when you pay for your order.

The Price You See at Checkout is the Final Price.

You will not owe a penny more upon delivery.

Why are these fees applied now?

As of early 2026, the US government requires duties on all imported goods regardless of value. We’ve updated our system to handle this automatically so you can focus on the fishing, not the paperwork.

🎣 Products & Services

Do you tie custom fly patterns?

While we love talking shop, we don't currently offer a custom-tying service. The patterns you see on our site are curated by Phil Rowley and Brian Chan specifically for their effectiveness—if it’s on the site, it’s a proven producer!

How do I know which flies are best for my local lake?

Each of our product descriptions includes tips on how and when to fish that specific pattern. For more in-depth skills, check out Phil Rowley’s YouTube channel for masterclasses on stillwater techniques.

Is your gear CUSMA/USMCA compliant?

Whenever possible, we source materials and products covered by North American trade agreements to keep your costs low. Our automated checkout will always apply the lowest possible legal rate for each item based on its country of origin.

🔄 Returns & Order Changes

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately. We try to ship orders as quickly as possible, but if your package hasn't left the shop yet, we’ll do our best to help you out.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your gear. If something isn't right, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days for a refund or exchange.

  • Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error in your order.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We take great care in packing your gear, but accidents happen. If your order arrives damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and the item and email us right away. We'll make it right!

Will I Be Notified When My Order is Shipped?

Yes, once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification. Your shipping notice will include an estimated ship time and any applicable tracking numbers.
